For carefree living, the Decora® Dimmer and Timer features an astronomical clock that uses your mobile device’s location service to define the dimmer’s longitude and latitude. This enables the handy “on at sunset and off at sunrise” feature to automatically adjust daily to your local time so lights are always in sync with nature.
The Decora Bluetooth Dimmer and Timer is designed to work with your choice of compatible dimmable CFLs, dimmable LEDs, incandescent or halogen bulbs.

This app worked very well with my old LG V10 running Android 6.x. Now, with my Samsung Galaxy S9 running Android 8.0, it will not connect at all. Whatever bugs you fixed, it doesn't show. I should add that this app used to work very well, and, if this S9 would connect at all (it's never been able to connect), it would still be a good app. However, you should make sure that people know that the new version of the app requires location services to be turned on (it otherwise says that Bluetooth is turned off--even if it's on) for it to even scan for the devices it still can't find. Even if the connectivity is an issue on Samsung's end, some communication as to what's going on would be appreciated. You guys would have a solid product on your hands if it would just work.

Well it used to work fine, and the power went off, so it was out of sync with the time, so I went to fix it and noticed the app had updated, and now it won't recognize my device! I tried syncing it several times with my phone literally touching the device, but it wont sync! Can I somehow get the older version of the app? Any help is appreciated, because if I cant sync it I might as well use a regular switch! Which makes this an expensive regular dimmer switch with no connectivity!!

It only works with iOS; my android phones have never connected. I had to use someone else's phone to set it up initially, but it went off schedule. I finally emailed the support to ask how to make it work with Android and no response. I had hoped that in time they would figure out how to make the app functional on android. The app is useless if it can't find the switch, and the switch is useless without a way to set it. Disappointed.
