The camera seems to do a good job, but through the app, it'd take 2-6 tries to transfer the videos to my phone over the dedicated wifi connection. I'd hoped the USB cable would allow direct connection, but it still seemed to go through the wifi. It took me basically the whole evening to finally get about 20 minutes of video transferred because the transfer would freeze, fail, or crash.

The app worked fine for me until update 4.2.2. But now when I try to save my photos & videos, it just creates an empty folder with the name that the file should have had, including the .jpg or .mp4 suffix. So now I can only use the desktop version, which in some ways is more limited. Hope they fix it soon. Incidentally I'd like to be able to switch off the black vignette that is put around the edge of the exports. I used to be able to but the option seems to have been removed.

Rated this app 1 star two years ago. The app still sucks. Bought a 2nd hand 8K camera to replace my dead QooCam 3D/360 camera, and the app is still unreliable when connecting to camera WiFi, phone back button still doesn't do what you expect it to do (closes app instead of going to previous screen or just closes the app), no bulk export options, metadata has to be added by another app to make 360 viewing work... that's just some of the problems. I hate this app. Camera is decent. App sucks.
