Godox forces you to have an account to use the app. This means you have to register with a mobile phone number. To verify they "text" a confirmation code, which never comes. Without an account, you can NOT enter the app to use a single feature. Kinda feel cheated here guys. When I read about the awesome features of this expensive hardware, I didn't factor in the buggy software being a dead end! If you want to be used by professionals, this can't happen!

Unacceptably buggy. The registration process is invasive. Using an R2 Pro Mark II controller, pressing the modeling light button or beep button causes the controller to reset to channel 0 and lose communication with the flashes. There is no way to select a Godox X1R/Flashpoint R2 receiver, and the app won't control flashes until you select something, so I guessed the V680 II would be close enough. This truly horrible app is so much worse than using the menus on the controller itself.

I fail to understand why would this app need login credential, it's troublesome and doesn't add anything to the table. As for function itself, somehow UI on X2T is better than in the app. You got buttons and a wheel on device, but in app you have to click again and again to reach the desired value. The only upside of the app is, you can add/subtract values from all groups at once. Drop the login requirements and add virtual wheel adjustment and this app would become actually useful.
