Learning chess WAS hard. Now it's FUN
Getting better at chess — especially at openings — has always been a tedious, boring affair. We've tried to build the best chess app to overcome that hurdle.
Lotus Chess was engineered to be as engaging, as motivating, and as fun as possible — without compromising on making you improve as fast and as much as possible.

Learn how to beat HUMANS, instead of preparing for an ENGINE!
Lotus Chess has developed a new AI that went through millions of games to identify what lines and variations work best against real humans. When two moves are close to equal in evaluation, Lotus selects the move that gives you the best Win Rate.

This yields games that feel more human, easier to play, and much more fun.

No way to review what is actually in the repertoire, for example, if you get some line in a game and want to review either where you went wrong or what is even in your training, that's impossible. If you change your mind about what moves you want to play in a line that keeps coming up in the flash cards good luck. The line has to come up either as part of learning a new line or as part of "increasing mastery". You need to have a very narrow repertoire. More missing features, but no room to

Thanks for the detailed feedback. You’re right — at the moment it’s not easy to review your full repertoire, revisit specific lines from games, or change chosen moves once they’re in training. We’re working on making repertoire management more flexible, including easier review, editing, and support for broader repertoires.

🔥🔥 AMAZING CHESS APP!! Did the free beginner mode for 45 minutes, very entertaining, taught me things I never understood before!! Then used what I just learned in my first game on Lichess where I played the most aware game ever. I lost on a stupid blunder late in the game, but was blown away because the structure I was using FINALLY made sense. I gonna buy the Pro version (prob for a year) because I want to support the developer. But even the free version ROCKS!!! 🔥🔥

great concept, I really hope to continue using the app. few things bug me.. the UI isnt totally intuitive... I'd really like for there to be an explanation of the progress bar colors (blue vs red) around the progression circles. then, after correctly moving a piece, I love for the UI to show which line you're in.... this way, if there's a line that you repeatedly fumble, you could step back and go learn more about the theory to connect the dots.
