About this app

LTSSMaryland EVV is the Maryland Department of Health's (MDH) Electronic Visit Verification system for verifying home and community based service delivery. This HIPAA compliant application allows providers to use their own smartphones to submit service records directly to the state in real time, offering a fast and convenient method to ensure that recipients are getting their correct authorized services.

LTSSMaryland EVV meets the 21st Century Cures Act requirements by recording the type of service performed, individual receiving the service, date of service, location of service delivery, individual providing the service, and service start and end time. The system offers a method for MDH to continue its mission to promote and improve the health and safety of all Marylanders through disease prevention, access to care, quality management, and community engagement.

Ratings and reviews

Extremely unreliable. I've contacted the help desk at least twice in the last couple of weeks and they swear they've fixed the issues. But I still never know when/if the app will allow me to not only sign in, but also complete a time punch. Many times, if I can get in the app freezes before my time is recorded. This is super frustrating and the fact that the people who are supposed to help aren't helpful is extra stressful. Even trying to access LTSS on a desktop isn't working for me.

This app does not work as should/intended for. It takes time to clock in and I out whereby you are losing minutes. Some days it will open/be available to use and sometimes it doesn't. My question is, what if the client doesn't have a land line telephone to use for clocking and out, and the app is not working. What are the alternatives?

When this app works it is not bad, but I get so many error messages when I log in. As well as a night shift worker, the updates during a 12hr period when I need to clock in and out is very annoying. The phone in option is not optimal when I walk into my work home and need to start right away and don't have time to call in and type in so many different numbers and the ever changing code.
