Used to use this app all the time, but it no longer works. Immediately crashes when it starts searching for results, if you can even make it that far. It's slowly been getting worse over time, suggesting fonts not even in the same ballpark, but it WAS slightly helpful. It's clear there is no longer a development team behind this and, sadly, it's complete garbage now. Don't even bother.

I was able to use it once. Then it crashed 3 times. Message from the play store popped up saying I should clear the cache. Did that, successfully used it one more time, and then it crashed again. 7 times in a row despite me clearing the cache several times. The play store message changed to a "wait for the developer to fix the bug/update the app." So we're SOL on font identification till that happens, I guess. 🤷‍♀️

invest in hiring a good design and engineering team to make an app that is even passably functional, but this app just gets worse and worse as time goes on. problems: 1. when I take a photo of something, with phone right side up, the image always processes upside down, adding the extra step of rotating the image to be right side up. 2. I can screenshot something, and the photo will NOT show up when I click the gallery button, I have to go screenshot the image over and over until it shows up.
