About this app

Nothing beats meeting people in real life, but it can feel scary to put yourself out there and meet new people. So we tried to make it as easy as possible with no swiping
and over coffee...

Mesh in three simple steps:

1. We send you an invite text message once a week with a time and a local cafe. You then decide if you want to go that week, no pressure!

2. Open the link and click "yep" or "nope"

3. We tailor-make a group of four for you. Show up with a smile and have fun!


We pair you at local Coffee Shops and Cafes :)

A few more details:

We send out the messages on Wednesday and send you a reminder on Friday at 5pm if you click "yep."

You will get the photos of your group at 8:30am on Saturday. If at any time something comes up, no problem, just cancel before midnight on Friday with no penalty.

The connections last ~hour. Then, the coffee shop turns into a pumpkin.

Mesh is simple: sign up, answer a few questions, and take a chance and meet people over coffee!

Once your city hits 500 signups, we will start sending invites! We need 500 people signed up in your city to help maximize the chances of you meeting with people your age. We'd love to accelerate the rate at which people can meet their group of people in any city.

Ratings and reviews

Great way to meet new people as an adult, but they also will issue strikes against your account if you fail to show up - regardless of the reason. If you get too many strikes, they can ban your account, and you'll have to grovel to be unbanned. They also charge you $5 if you RSVP, but then later have to cancel. That is on top of them demanding $10/month for premium features. Great app but sometimes not without its annoying aspects as it becomes more commercialized, like everything else nowadays.

My therapist recommended Mesh to me as a way to meet new people. I've been to multiple coffees and really appreciate the variety of people I've connected with! I've lived in town for quite a while, and it's nice to have a way to meet completely new people I've never met before. All of my Mesh groups have had good connections and conversations. The app creators are very responsive and kind people. I highly recommend trying it out!

I'm not sure how I feel about having to provide my credit card info now just to accept the invite...I think I'll pass. Surely there must be some other way to encourage people to show up. The meet ups themselves were pretty enjoyable so I am a bit sad I won't be going to any more. One issue with the app itself is that I randomly get the walkthrough tutorial repeatedly, which was rather annoying.
