About this app

mySunPower™ offers convenient information about and control over your SunPower home solar power system. Designed to integrate seamlessly with SunPower solar and battery storage solutions, mySunPower puts the power to monitor system performance and control battery settings in the palm of your hand. The app is an extension of the mySunPower web portal.

Features include:
• Views of solar production, home consumption, and battery power flows.
• Historical system performance, including energy consumption data for homes equipped with energy consumption meters.
• SunPower SunVault™ Storage controls to change battery settings and view battery status.
• Live weather data and system alerts to inform energy decisions.

Unfortunate! Since SunPower's bankruptcy and the transition to the new company, this app has become nearly useless. Most of the previously available data now requires a monthly subscription, significantly reducing its value and functionality. For such an expensive investment which I paid for upfront you would think that the least they can do is provide the same functionality. The strange aspect is that if you are paying for your solar panels through a payment plan you get the full function.

Update March 2025: Things have gone from bad to worse. The new maintainers of the app pretty much screwed it up so it shows things like negative house load. And as of today it no longer works at all. Brilliant Update August 2022: The long promised software update is still in progress. And the panel level information that they describe in their channel on YouTube does not work. It doesn't show up at all in the app. I have never run into a technology company who's software was so ineptly managed.

ever since updating the application, I can't get anything in the app to work. It gets stuck on the screen right after logging in. I've tried reinstalling multiple times. I've waited on the "connecting" screen for 1+ hours, multiple times. I've tried using the in-app support - doesn't work. I've tried emailing a support email I found on the Google Play review area - didn't work. Please help.
