Love Sharks audio network. In a world where following sports costs an arm and a leg, it's nice to have a place where I can stream live games for free. However, the audio player requires two ads to play before the stream starts. That's okay because they need to make money. But if I move from wifi to cell service, the audio is interrupted and turns off, and won't play until I leave the audio screen and come back to it, at which point it plays two ads before returning to the action.

The app cuts out frequently whether I'm on Wi-Fi or 5G. And most infuriatingly it will not run in the background. So I spend more time listening to ads every time I have to reboot the app then I do actually listening to the games. As an out-of-market fan, this is the only option I have for games and it's sub-par at best. Even with the most updated version, it's still cutting out every 2-3 minutes. Fix it.

I hate this version of the app, and have uninstalled it. The new UI is mostly for news stuff, but doesn't flow well IMHO, and lacks any Standings, or even the Team Record. I love my Sharks since before Day 1 (SJ Mercury Newspaper votes and such), but I want to compare how we are doing in the league. And notifications are getting annoying. I just reminders for game start, that's it, as I can watch the recording later after work, but the setting for just this doesn't work, as I still get score updates, and misc news stuff. The older version was easy and direct to use for info and news, now it's only news, and I find myself using the NHL app more now... and it's only been a couple of weeks into the season?!
