About this app

The NDSIII provides basic diagnostics for N i s s a n and I n f i n i t i cars. It is intended for newer cars that have a 16-pin OBDII connecter and use Consult III protocol over CAN. Those are usually cars build between years 2007 and now. The connector is typically located near the fuse box.

This application supports petrol and diesel cars. It communicates with the engine ECU using Consult III protocol. It uses the same communication protocol as the dealer diagnostic tool. This protocol is far more comprehensive than the generic ISO15765 protocol.

The video recorder function saves an mp4 video file with accompanying data log file. Overlay software such as RaceRender can then be used to generate videos with custom data visualization.

A Bluetooth diagnostic adapter is required to connect to the car. This app is design to work with adapters build on the popular ELM327 chip. They are very well priced and available from many Internet suppliers or eBay. For a list of tested adapters please visit our website.

NOTE: There are a number of adaptors with fake ELM327 v2.1 chip. Those adaptors do not have all required commands and are not supported. Look for adaptors with v1.5 or v1.4 chip.

This app works amazingly well. I'm a shop owner with an interest in specifically 07-08 350Z cars. Early 07s need the NDSII because of the K-line protocol unless updated with an 08 OS like my personal car, 07s are already wired for CANbus so it's only a reflash. The auto connect usually doesn't work until i force stop the app. It could be my adapter, but I'm not sure. Also, is there a way to change the gauges on the video recorder to overlay different parameters? Thx!

Good scanner ...for the Nissan infinity ..odb2..you get more data from this app..than other...some bugs I think..are there still, it needs to explain how to use the throttle ..vtc adaptations....there that steps that need to be followed...the data refresh ...a little slow.....after all i dont a a reliable obd mine is a 1.4 elm327 ...whats kmow tobwork with this app?

Can't connect via wifi. WiFi is connected to obd adapter's one, IP of gateway is 192.168.0.10 and port is 35000. Torque is able to connect with same settings, but not this app. With bluetooth it connects, but vvt timing learn is not working. Throws an error saying "EVTCL failed"
