The purpose of English Standard Version Bible is to bring modern Bible readers as close as possible to the original meaning of the Sacred Scriptures.

The work of the ESV will never be complete because English usage is always changing. The CBT (Committee of Bible Translation) is charged to meet every year to review and maintain the ESV.

I love it. It has many extra resources and books to read. I'm currently reading on Forgiveness and I'm learning a lot.

I like how it's setup. I'm not familiar but am getting used to this version. Thanks to the providers of the ESV app.

This ESV Bible App would be a wonderful resource in every way..the daily devotions etc, BUT the ads are far too long and very distracting when trying to get in the mood for reading, prayer and meditation.
