Issues off the bat: 1) I misspelled my name and it won't save corrections when I update "my info" 2) It doesn't allow me to add the team's spontaneous time to my calendar. --- Kind of defeats the purpose of using the app, if I have to keep track of stuff in 2 places. 3) There are a bunch of "calendar" / "schedule" of other event buttons that don't work. To get to "other events", I needed to get to the main competition schedule, scroll down and then select ""WF Events" at the bottom of the page. Some of the app is good. ex) campus map, searching the competition schedule for your team.

OMER's world is getting better all the time, but there's still plenty of room for improvement. The user interface is clunky, partly it seems from the app's origin as a tool for attendees at professional conferences. Some of the functionality and terminology from that world is not consistent with the way we think of World Finals. The full screen ad that pops up regularly is extremely annoying, and not doing anything to make me well disposed toward that sponsor, even though they have been very good to us. As a WF official, I'm primarily interested in schedules and contacting other officials. The team performance schedules worked decently, but the schedule of other events is not very helpful when accessed from the home page as it does not show the date and time until each item is clicked. Two things would be helpful in contacting other officials: going ahead and assigning us each to groups based on our problem/division, and making the messaging notification actually provide notifications - not just an indicator on the "Attendees" page. Overall though, I've definitely put the app to good use at WF 2017, and look forward to even more utility and usability at WF 2018.
