The Hays County Sheriff’s Office mobile application is an interactive app developed to help improve communication with area residents. The Hays County Sheriff App allows residents to connect with the Hays County Sheriff’s Office by reporting crimes, submitting tips, and other interactive features, as well as providing the community the latest public safety news and information.

The app is another public outreach effort developed by the Hays County Sheriff’s Office to improve communication with county residents and visitors.

This app is not intended to be used to report emergency situations. Please call 911 in an emergency.

Hays County officers assisted my children and I when we were stranded and had no family or anywhere to go. Provided helpful resources within our community. Very professional and they weren't helping us just because "it's their job", but because these officers truly care about us. They were the only ones who cared enough to help my children and I during a time when we needed it the most. Thank you Hays and Travis County officers and staff for ALL that you do! Officers need better training in symptoms of severe mental illness vs drug dependency. Is this a civil vs criminal matter? Jail vs Deescalate vs transport to ER. These are life altering decisions! An officer's written report is publically available forever. What if it is wrong?
