The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office mobile application is an interactive app developed to help improve communication with area residents. The Steuben County Sheriff App allows residents to connect with the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office by reporting crimes, submitting tips, and other interactive features such as Jail Inmate and Sex Offender searches, as well as providing the community the latest public safety news and information. The app is another public outreach effort developed by the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office to improve communication with county residents and visitors.

This app is not intended to be used to report emergency situations. Please call 911 in an emergency.

It's good for what it does have like. Looking on there to see if anybody I know is locked up. I like it because it shows her picture edit. List all the charges. I'm like mobile patrol where you have just brief description doesn't show pictures and definitely doesn't show their case. I give them photos because it's got more than everybody else

I can't find the "letter code" key anywhere in the app. What are the letters that follow "offense code", "offense type" and "disposition" and several other pats of the inmate page?

Horrible. Not enough options for inmate searching. It should be more like Allen and whitley counties
