About this app

This app is meant to be used in conjunction with the Outreach Smartphone Monitoring web application. It allows monitoring parties such as police departments to monitor subjects who are under house arrest or have other location restrictions, or have blood alcohol content restrictions.

OSM features:

* "Check In" feature generates pass code and facial recognition video of offender

* "Check In" randomly programmed by monitoring party or voluntarily by offender

* "BAC" Blood Alcohol Content measuring feature uses an FDA approved, fuel cell, Bluetooth breathalyzer. (Use of the feature requires purchase of the Outreach Breathalyzer)

* All check-in videos reviewed by OSM staff

* "Calendar" sends push notifications reminding offender of court, testing, prescriptions, events, etc

* Emphasis on decreasing "failure to appear" rates

* Active GPS location monitoring, exclusion and inclusion zones

This app is part of a system that allows monitor parties to monitor more offenders with existing staff at no cost.

Trash! They need to reactivate the old version. I had no problems besides loading issues hear and there. But new one won't shut the hell up!!! So inconvenient!! Alarm notification raises to the highest volume without permission! I can not express how upsetting is dealing with this. If test not taking for whatever reason the alarm goes off every 15 minutes being obnoxious. For those wearing headphones save yourself from this app, worse decision ever!

Majority of the time it doesn't work or acts up. Raises all media to maximum volume when the notification goes off (even on silent) which is incredibly harmful to your ears with ear buds in. Supposed to charge $60 a month but they charge random amounts 2-3 times monthly that often add up to more than $60. Forced to use this app, and was told this app was chosen because it is the cheapest one. Ridiculous waste of money for something that does nothing but frustrate you. Ankle monitor > osm ANY DAY

Got the cam unit and it worked fine. Then I was one of the ones who have an android phone so it stopped sending me notifications. It's been over a week now and it finally started working today 9-12-24 at 1:30pm. Had to check the app every 40 minutes to make sure I wasn't missing any. I believe they should have looked into this or before using it in the courts. This messes with people's freedom if it's not working properly.
