About this app

The Inspection and Management of Ex-Equipment (IMEx) initiative is intended to transition from the traditional offline method of submitting inspection data for Ex-equipment to an online platform. This shift aims to centralize the inspection records and related data in a cloud-based database, facilitating technical analysis and providing a convenient reference for future use. Additionally, the system will offer visualization tools for tracking inspection completeness, presenting an overview of results, and generating statistics on common findings.

The IMEx Application is a collaborative system accessible through web and mobile platforms, designed to centralize the inspection data and management of Ex-Equipment. This versatile application encompasses four types of inspections: initial inspection, full inspection, risk-based inspection (RBI), and sample inspection. Importantly, it allows non-PETRONAS users to download and subsequently upload inspection checklists. Additionally, the application offers a dashboard view for tracking inspection completeness, providing an overview of results, and presenting statistics on common findings.
The primary objectives of this system are as follows: to replace the conventional offline submission of Ex-equipment inspection data with an online submission method, to consolidate Ex-equipment inspection data and related information in a cloud-based database to support technical analysis and future reference, and to offer visual representations of inspection completeness tracking, results overview, and statistics regarding common findings.
