Great option for those not wanting to spend 3k on spot lock, autopilot, and routes. I installed this on my power drive v2 which was a basic model. Spot lock (anchor) routes from navionics, and auto pilot all work well. Support the one time I needed it was literally in minutes. This solution is top notch. I would recommend the hand held remote as well for non-route functions.

Having an anchor function on the bow is PRICELESS for anyone who gets into fishing, beyond drunk worm and bobbering. I'm on my 2nd year with this contraption clamped to my trolling motor and now I couldn't imagine life without it. However, the one con is almost a deal breaker- when anchoring, it will wrap itself up in the cables to the point of destruction, making many full rotations. All it would take to fix is prgrming it to only turn 180° in either direction. Sucks when your bow motors ruined

This thing is amazing. I am out fishing with a 5 year old more often than not. pronav drives the boat while I am re rigging poles are untangling lines. The anchor mode is great in rivers and lakes. The new motion controller makes it better than any MinnKota solution and the range is amazing... I can lanch my boat and anchor it away from the dock, park the truck, and bring the boat back when we are ready to board.
