See the electricity being used by your whole home in real-time. EnergyVUE works with the EAGLE-200 gateway that is connected to your utility's smart meter.

Turn on your A/C, your portable heater, or your kettle and see how it affect's your home's energy usage. Turn everything off in your house to see what your 'vampire loads' are.

Coming Soon: You'll have the ability to control and monitor devices that are part of the Rainforest ecosystem.

Note: Not compatible with EAGLE Legacy devices (4 LEDs). Use the LegacyVUE app instead.

If you just bought this and are installing the app, just return it and save yourself the pain. Yes, it can work. And it's good data when it does. But if _ANYTHING_ goes wrong you are stuck in support hell. PG&E replaced the meter? Zombie meter on your account kills every other services ability to use this data. Contact support to have zombie removed? After explicitly telling you they will leave the connected meter and delete the zombie one, they still delete the connected one.

The only thing it's useful for is real-time data and that can be spotty at times, actions/alerts dont seem to work without some additional hardware. Unfortunately I don't get much use out of the app beyond checking my gateway is still accessible through the web. Had to build my own app to get some basic alerting using the eagle's rest API.

App won't allow me to add my eagle. I enter my CloudID, and Install code then it won't allow me to continue. Neither barcode scan, or submit work. The old legacy app still works but is very fragile so I had hoped this new one would be better. Sadly it is unusable for me.
