The Onewheel app connects your Android device to your Onewheel.
The app uses Bluetooth 4.0 and allows you to monitor many important things about your Onewheel and customize your Onewheel's handling to suit your riding style.

Digital Shaping:

Ratings and reviews

Unusable. It makes your board questionably usable. This app pushes board firmware updates 1) even while you are riding, 2) even when you don't want them, and 3) then repeatedly fails. There is no way to bypass this. This software effectively can make your purchase worth very little. I like the onewheel, but the hardware is only as reliable as the software.

The app works, but it used to show more information about battery health including the individual cell voltages. This info is needed to understand when the cells need a longer charge to allow balancing. The error notifications could have much more detail about what could have caused the error and how to correct it. Also the main display should be designed to be more useful at a glance while riding. Speed, battery level, and a motor power level "tachometer" style gauge would be quite useful.

Love when the app works fully. I like to track my rides, but I have to pull my phone out and check to make sure it's still connected as it disconnects frequently per ride. My favorite part is smart watch functionality. I love the speedometer screen and the ability to change shaping from my watch. However, I know the board disconnected when my speedo on my watch says zero while I'm riding. Minus 2 stars for constant disconnects and achievement tracking not being accurate. Ruins my daily streak.
