About this app

This application allows you to calculate the length of the legs, the angle between them, and the forces acting on the bridle and the elements of the structure to which it is suspended.

Thanks to additional calculators, it is possible to calculate the Apex height and the position of the bridle point, changes in the load on the beam between two points, as well as the forces acting on the cantilever load, breast line horizontal forces, and several other calculations useful in arena fields.

The application accepts all units of measurement, both metric and imperial (cm, m, in, ft). Whether you input values in feet or meters, the results will be accurate and consistent with the unit you used.

It's very good, but it would be nice to get some additional units of measurement. Most of the rig points I'm trying to use this for are way beyond what cms or inches cover, so I have to do a bunch of conversions before and after using the app.

During normal use enter values in any units of measurement the calculator does not recognize whether you entered 10 m,10 cm, 10 ft or in,the result will always be correct. Use the conversion buttons only when you need to convert from metric units (cm) to imperial (in) or vice versa. An update with an additional unit converter will be available soon.

Why does it require a weight to calculate bridle leg length? This doesn't make sense...

Hei. To calculate the forces acting on the bridle, press the green button "forces" to see the result. Regards

Does not accept measurements in feet, have to enter to much information to acquire the bridle legs and length of each leg. No option to enter available hardware so legs can be easly drawn out for ground riggers to build. Not user friendly for concert rigging in arenas.

The application accepts all units of measurement, both metric and imperial(cm, m, in, ft). Whether you input values in feet or meters, the results will be accurate, consistent with the unit you used. Use the cm/in switch to convert between metric(cm,kg) and imperial(in,lb) systems. All inputted data is necessary for accurate calculations. Regards
