About Us:
Satin Creditcare Network Limited (SCNL) is one of India’s premier MFIs NBFC. Founded in 1990 by first generation entrepreneur HP Singh. It was registered with the RBI as an NBFC – MFI in 2013. Under the leadership of Mr. HP Singh, SCNL has grown into one of India’s leading microfinance institutions, crossing the $1 billion AUM in FY19 to be in the elite Billion Dollar Group.
SCNL aims to meet the demands of India’s aspirational individuals with limited financing opportunities with a diversified rural microfinance vertical inspired by the Grameen Model. SCNL provides income generation loans which are used for a variety of economic activities and eventually help increasing income generating capacity of the borrowers by enabling them to generate cash flows, build assets and become self-reliant. It also lends to MSMEs and housing finance through its subsidiaries. SCNL has a strong workforce of ~13,000 employees, backed by a growing distribution network of more than 1,300 branches present across 22 states and UTs of India.
SCNL follows the Joint Liability Group (JLG) model and individual based lending of microfinance for its operations. Collateral free, affordable micro-credit financial services are provided to the economically active in both rural and semi-urban areas, who otherwise have limited access to mainstream financial services.
