Ratings and reviews

It was fun at first but then you get to a point where you can't really progress unless you watch ads. Even then the progression is minimal. So unless you are willing to pay up to even get halfway through the game I'd pass. The story is good but I'd suggest some more options. EX..discussion with the Abbott about the scroll... They could give the scroll to the cats and just repair/block the secret entrance. Destroy the stairs even? I might consider re-installing once these issues are addressed.

The stories are great, but, even with the text made smaller, the text gets cut off for many of the player choices, so you kind of have to guess what it says. Docking another star for the lack of replayability. I would love to be able to replay the stories so I could see the different outcomes, but there doesn't seem to be any way to do that at all, which makes me kind of upset after having paid for a lantern for unlimited candles. What's the point of that, if you can only play each story once?

I love this beautiful story driven game. I've even paid the 9.99 to have unlimited story. But even though the update says the inventory is fixed, mine still apears empty. Nothing but a set of wooden draws. I've also run into some story mix ups. They're slight, but noticable if you're paying attention. All in all it's a riviting game. I haven't paid money for an app game in ages. Please fix the inventory. I feel I'm missing out. TY.
