About this app

Dear app user,

• The Boost app is brand new and was developed by scientists at Leibniz University Hannover and the University of Lübeck based on current findings from learning research on spelling for children.
• The Booost app reduces misspellings to the maximum and works extremely simply.
• The Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) provided comprehensive support for the development of the method.
• Practicing is a lot of fun – and, as scientifically proven, highly effective.
• The Booost app is self-explanatory and only requires a WiFi / mobile network connection the first time you start it.
• We would like to expressly point out that the Booost app does not send any data to us or third parties. The data protection declaration only applies to data that is collected by Apple when you download the Booost app from the App Store.

Directions:
Start: You can create a “new account” with an imaginary name. When you continue practicing, simply log in again - several people can practice on one device!
Press the “Start” button and write the word in the writing field – with your finger or pen (stylus). In the gap text you can see which letter was recognized. If correct, press the green wide button. If wrong, erase and rewrite. Each letter must be confirmed – green.
If the Booost app doesn't recognize your letter at all, press the incorrectly recognized letter in the fill-in-the-blank text and enter the desired letter using the keyboard.
A practice session lasts 10 minutes - you can cancel at any time, close the Booost app and continue later. Just try everything out. If you get stuck, watch the YouTube video or write us an email and we'll help you:
