The ExhiBIT App empowers users to actively shape museum exhibitions by integrating digital storytelling and community participation. Designed with small to mid-sized Galleries, Libraries, Archives, and Museums (GLAMs) in mind, the app is built on a non-authoritative, visitor-centered approach—making space for everyone to engage, curate, and share. The users can browse diverse exhibitions, artifacts, and community archives that amplify marginalized voices and underrepresented histories—across ethnic, gender, religious, socio-political, and cultural spectrums. Visitors can contribute to curatorial narratives, map their own exhibition journeys, and engage with content from multiple perspectives, strengthening the sustainability and relevance of museum spaces.
