UPDATE: These issues have been fixed. It's nonobvious that scripts need a weird hashbang path without documentation. Also needs a way to establish that a certain script should run in the background and not bring up an interactive terminal session.

Thanks for the feedback! As of the latest update, you don't need special hashbang paths, and background scripts are supported using the ~/.shortcuts/tasks folder.

Note to viewer: Termux on Play store seems deprecated. Check their GitHub readme!!! A very useful feature, reasonably priced. However, on Meizu Flyme OS, sometimes tapping on a script yields no response. Removing the widget and adding again solves the problem. Please fix in later versions :-) Update: they fixed it!

Used to be great. With the recent update, names of shortcuts disappear after some use. They all end up being called "Termux: Widget" which is useless, unless you remember where you positioned each shortcut.
