Transconomy Collector is a mobile application that lets transportation agencies collect and automatically upload geo-coded roadway images to the cloud for infrastructure asset management.
Due to budget, resource, and time constraints, most small and local agencies that provide transportation asset inventory services do not have access to high-end survey vehicles or other expensive roadway data collection solutions. Such transportation agencies can use Transconomy Collector to collect roadway data quickly and affordably with near-instantaneous transmission of collected data to the cloud. Agencies can split network-level projects into a number of manageable areas and assign each to individual collectors (data collection drivers) for data collection. The app comes with an in-app smart storage feature that automatically syncs the collected images to the cloud and removes the images from the phone to save
storage space.
