New: You can now configure the start and duration of the period, for example one week, 28 days, or even one year.



Do you have an almost unlimited data plan and you never consume all your data? Lucky you! Unfortunately this app will be useless in this situation.

On the other hand: do you have a limited data plan and it has happened to you:
a) You always spend too much data on the first days of the period, and you have few left at the end?
or
b) You try not to spend too much data at the beginning of the period, and then you end with unused data?
or
c) You always wanted to know 'Did I spent too much already?' 'Am I above an average usage?'.

Then this app will (I hope) help you!
It shows your data usage (bottom bar, how much you already used) with an ideal 'average data usage' (top bar, how much you would have used by downloading the same amount of bytes every second in the period). This way with just one look you can check if you are above or below the 'average data usage'.
- If the top bar is longer than the bottom: Good! You can download a bit more and still have at the end of the period.
- If the top bar is shorter than the bottom: Not good! You need to stop using too much data, otherwise you'll end with no more left.

Isn't this useful? I think it is, and that's why I (TrianguloY) published it. It doesn't contains ads, and it is absurdly lightweight, so give it a try.

- READ_PHONE_STATE - Permission needed to get the device identification only. No other data is retrieved nor used.

NOTE: there is no internet permission, there are no ads so it is not necessary.

Thank you for making this widget! It's hands-down the best replacement I've found for the one I used to use from 3G Watchdog Pro, which I loved but is unfortunately no longer available. For this widget, I shrink it to 1x1 and use the tweaks setting to hide the text, leaving me with just some nice little bar graphs showing how far into my billing cycle I am and how much of my allotted data I've used. Beautiful! The only thing missing is the ability to customize the background transparency and bar graph colors. (With 3G Watchdog, I could even tell it to change the bar from green to red at a certain percentage, for example, which was a nice visual warning.) Oh, and one more thing: It would also be super convenient if the widget would launch the Data Usage section in Android Settings when you tap it. Any chance of getting this feature added?

This is a wonderful application with wonderful use. Thanks to it I have a much better vision on my mobile data usage. It is simple, lightweight, plain, very useful. The negative side is that its look, feel, and customization options are primitive. It can improve very much on these areas, but its primary function is very well fulfilled. I am a happy user of this application, would enthusiastically recommend it, and I'm longing for newer versions, though updates don't seem like a frequent thing.

Well it's on it's mark according to it's job. Too much satisfied. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ I would like to request you to kindly add another bar for WiFi data usage. (WiFi data usage should not be merged in the pack data) And make the widget transparent by offering font colour options or a white font with black outline.😀
