About this app

Veebs is an everyday grocery shopping productivity app designed for mobile. Whether scanning barcodes or searching the Veebs proprietary database, Premium app users can customize brand preferences and favorite stores to help the Veebs scoring algorithms show them the brands with the best values alignment.

Ratings and reviews

Still very new so the brand database isn't as complete as it could be. I was surprised that J&J wasn't found in the company list for my q-tips. But it did find most items and it was surprising just how many low value rated items are in my kitchen, pantry, and cleaning closets. A couple of times items with a high score of 79 were listed as poor, so some bugs still need to be worked out. I'll stick with the app subscription for a bit and hopefully it will improve with user submissions.

just too early to get 5 🌟, I'd like it to be able to display information about the major impact on scores in a few different areas to be able to easily start learning more about brands you don't think about. I found it has trouble with newer companies like Soylent Nutrition Inc. And Green Cola Company, which are both about 10 years old. The app doesn't have a way to submit products outside of its scoring system to help it grow. It's mission an alt suggestion system. No Open-source license

Such a promising idea..too bad that there is no way to see the quality of the service without paying...trial should include more to be able to see the value of the service (perhaps a limited number of items looked up per month instead of limiting data on each item?). Without a better understanding of what data for each item looks like, I won't ever consider paying for this service... Hopefully the "limited" version will be updated to let folks see what they get.
