About this game

Teacup is a short and wholesome narrative adventure game with a focus on exploration and non-linear progression.

You play as the titular Teacup, a shy and introverted young frog who loves drinking tea and reading. The day before she is to host a tea party at her house, she realizes she is completely out of tea, and thus must venture into the woods around her to find the herbs she needs to restock her pantry.

You are free to tackle the list of ingredients Teacup must gather in any order you wish. Find your own path through the world of Little Pond.

During your adventure you will meet the charming inhabitants of the forest. Some are talkative, some are grumpy, but all of them will lend you an ear on your adventure.

Most of the animals you meet will be glad to help Teacup… in exchange for a small favor or some help. Organize a (oddly shaped) market stall, win an underwater race and more!

It's cute, the art is lovely. It's a little slow walking and a bit repetitive. There's a glitch that kept happening in the kite park with the first couple sitting on the pink rug. I decided to skip talking to them because it froze the game everytime. This game has potential. They should also allow you to click on the map whenever, instead of having to walk slowly to the next section to try to open it back up.

I liked this game! It's a fun game. I thought it was going to be twitchy (where you have to make a lot of fast paced movements)..it's not. The game is really forgiving. You can go at your own pace. I really enjoyed this part. I have a feeling there might be other endings. There was one minor issue where I tried to talk one particular set of people...it would just stop responding so I just stopped trying that one spot. I would love for more chapters or games.

The game is cute, but two big bugs forced a restart of the game from an auto save point. One bug was the gear puzzle at the lighthouse, but after closing it out and continually hitting the clue button can you bypass this annoyance. This defeats the purpose of the puzzle, however, so that was unfortunate. The other bug was at grandma's house after you give her the rosehip, which actually closed the game on its own. Both of these bugs force you have to redo dialogue and replay some of the game.
