Experimental (possibly UNSTABLE) version of Xabber - open source Jabber (XMPP) client with multi-account support and clean interface.

You can install this version if you want to help us test and develop Xabber. Stability is not guaranteed, so if you are not feeling adventurous, use regular version. But if you ARE a risk-taker, you will get new features first!

Xabber was one of the first apps I had tried on Android years ago because it had OTR. Many competing apps only offer OMEMO now since it is newer and superior, but tbh there is no reason to remove a perfectly working feature. OMEMO also has the downside of requiring support of the infrastructure it is used on while OTR is fine by itself with no dependecies and thus works more reliable than its so called superior successor. Please never remove it.

5 stars + Supporting OTR To remove in chat sound, go to settings, notifications and scrool all the way down, disable it. Is damn annoing. In rest, the app ia great.

Focus on update instead of insulting your users. Over a month is much more than enough to update you app to api 28 features. I don't care if it's 2% of users or less. Pie is released and it's a fact since 6 August 2018! Almost half a year!
