Shimeji is a fully customizable engine that lets you construct frame-by-frame, import, or download your pre-existing Shimeji of choice easily and overlays it on top of all your apps! What is a Shimeji?

Shimeji was originally a desktop buddy for computers. Artists would produce and distribute full image sets and plug them into the program, and the character would be off, spreading chaos and mayhem, intercepting clicks, and overall being adorable.

Now you can do the same for Android!

the app is good in general, I downloaded it and created my own shimeji from scratch, and it all works pretty well. the only issue I've found with it is that when the smimeji clings to either the wall or the ceiling, the animation doesn't play and just freezes. I've tried removing frames, deleting it all and restarting, closing and re-opening the shimeji, and it doesn't work still.

This is a perfect recreation of the desktop Shimejis through and through! Really appreciate the ability to customize the animations. I've been making some Shimeji of my own and they are such an adorable thing to have. Not really important to the experience, but it would be neat to be able to manually select what behavior a Shimeji carries out, like in desktop, perhaps by long pressing one.

I really do like the app, however there's one annoying gripe I have with it. If you buy the full version and then reset your phone or uninstall then reinstall it, the app puts you back into the "free version" and forces you to pay for the "full version" again even if you've already bought it on your account. (It does remember if you had more than 3 shimejis though, but it's kinda frustrating that I have to cough up a dollar each time I install the app.
