The RO-BERTA project supports hail control efforts in the Rosenheim area. Users of the app can track the hail control aircraft's flight path on a map and view live weather data. Users can also support us with weather reports to better evaluate and analyze hailstorms. Users can be notified of current operations.
The operational area covers an area of 4,400 square kilometers.
It extends across the city and district of Rosenheim, the districts of Miesbach and Traunstein, and, since 2000, also across 13 neighboring municipalities in the Kufstein district on the Austrian side.
