Easily check if a product is Halal or not, just scan the bar-code on the packaging of a food or drink product, to detect if it contains pork, non-Halal meat, insects, alcohol, alcohol vinegar or animal rennet.

✦You can choose from the menu what to avoid in the list
-Pork

✦ Each ingredient and food additive on the product label is inspected in order to finally present a detailed report and a conclusion on the presence or absence of substances that may be illicit:
- Halal
- Doubtful
- Or Haram

✦ A database of more than 3,500,000 products.

✦ For each scanned product, you have a list of alternative or similar Halal products and where to find them.

✦ A search mode allows you to find Halal products in your country, tells you which brand and in which store to find them.

✦ A list of thousands of keywords in all languages, including scientific terms, to track down all hidden traces of pork, insects, alcohol... for a very accurate result.

We thank "Open Food Facts" whose database allows us to create the application.

EMPTY SEARCH.. Tried it on products with Halal seal and nothing shows in it's database. An EMPTY SEARCH would always surface. I'm not even sure whether it can really help me when i'm buying groceries...

The app is useless. I even used it on a product that has the halal logo and the result was "unknown". I don't recommend it at all. The developer should update it with more info. I will remove it

Why don't you add an option to let users suggest/'add directly when certified' you halal/haram data about a product from their country with proof, to be added to the database.
