About this app

Next Player is a native video player written in Kotlin and jetpack compose. It provides a simple and easy-to-use interface for users to play videos on their Android devices

This project is still in development and is expected to have bugs

Supported formats:

* Audio: Vorbis, Opus, FLAC, ALAC, PCM/WAVE (μ-law, A-law), MP1, MP2, MP3, AMR (NB, WB), AAC (LC, ELD, HE; xHE on Android 9+), AC-3, E-AC-3, DTS, DTS-HD, TrueHD
* Video: H.263, H.264 AVC (Baseline Profile; Main Profile on Android 6+), H.265 HEVC, MPEG-4 SP, VP8, VP9, AV1
* Streaming: DASH, HLS, RTSP
* Subtitles: SRT, SSA, ASS, TTML, VTT

best video player but right now there are some issues on reading subtitles this is the only sample video file name : the movie.mp4 subtitles file name : the movie.vtt but when i open the video the subtitles don't appear when i click the subtitles the file name shown is like this: the%2cmovie.vtt right now im manually adding subtitles from local files, i hope it fix to automatically add subtitles without problem 1star for now change it later once it fix

Sometimes the resume function breaks. The video will just start from the beginning and I have to find where I left off manually. I have the option to resume playback enabled and it only sometimes breaks.

This is the best video player app ever i used. you can add some features like mx player sleep timer,hw+decoder, and more. when we cut video then every frame see so we can easily knwo where we stop. i hope you implement this.
