Honestly, for an app that's basically meant to replace one that every phone comes with, it's really not an upgrade at all. Other than the ability to add colorful backgrounds, it's basically a nerfed version of Samsung notepad. You're unable to copy or highlight any text within the notes, you can't change the formatting from standard, and most features that are considered standard for a note-taking app are blocked behind a paywall. Do yourself a favor and just use the app your phone came with.

I think I would like it better if I could just get the option to remove ads only. I don't need the added features for the extra stuff I don't use so I can't justify the subscription. Trying to do my lists and contending with ads is irritating when I have to switch between lists a lot and I have to stop for an ad. Not the right app for me.

Ive tried all the major note apps, and this one is the best by far. I bought the lifetime subscription 3 years ago and I still use it everyday. You can pin important notes, and every time you use a pinned note, it gets reorganized to the very top. You can create categories, and organize the order of them. You can lock entire categories, or individual notes, & the widgets are one of the best features! You can create a widget of a locked note or a full calendar of your notes, and adjust the size.
