The SSEC - GOES App brings near real-time GOES (Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite) imagery and related data from NOAA and academic researchers to the palm of your hand. The data products are hosted by the University of Wisconsin – Madison Space Science and Engineering Center (SSEC) with visualization powered by the SSEC RealEarth™ platform.

Awesome goes west. It's simple with enough animation options. App is very helpful for Bozeman montana which has few radar/satellite towns near us that cover us well. We also have several radar/satellite holes (blind spots due to mountain chains). So, GOES West is really a necessity. Thank you for the great App!

This was a very good satellite view weather app. Did what it did and did it well, without ads etc. Until just recently and now it crashes on launch. Cleared cache, cleared data, reinstalled... No luck, still just craters.

End of June 2023 the app was working fairly well. Tried to open it today and it won't open. Told me to clear the cache because the app had a bug. Did that and still won't open. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app, still dead. No app updates available, so what gives?
