About this app

With Waifu2x you can resize your images without loosing quality and improving the clarity of them right through your Android device.

How to use Waifu2x:

1) Select the image you want to upscale from your device.

2) Configure the process selecting the noise reduction filter and the upscale option.

3) Wait for the image to be processed by our servers.

4) Once done, you can download the upscaled image in the format you prefer (JPG or PNG)

The application specializes in images from manga / anime, so it does not work correctly with images that are not.
If you try it with another image, keep in mind that it is not the goal of our app.

Edit: I forgot about this app for a while and now it seems to accept images again (smaller than 3840x3840) but processing takes ages and at the end show's Unexpected error. It's completely unusable now with server side processing. It was very fast and stable before. Now it just doesn't work at all. Edit2: Got 1.3.2 build. At first it was crashing so I checked logcat and it shows that some Gif layout thing is causing crashing. Opened it up with apktool, cleared arrays, rebuilt. And now it works!

it works for what its intended for. my only issue is that once the photo is done. it doesn't show up on the gallery right away. as a previous review mentioned. i just restarted my phone and the picture appeared on the gallery. unfortunately there is no "refresh" button/option on my gallery app. besides that little issue, the app works on the S10 Plus.

This app often throws out "unextected error. Try again." and just doesn't work a lot of the time. When it does go through, it works quite well. UPDATE: It processes a lot better now but the quality of the finished images are not as good as before the update.
