The HUÉNEJA GUIDE app is a free tool part of the Unified Digital Street Map of Andalusia (CDAU) project and developed by the Institute of Statistics and Cartography of Andalusia (IECA). This app offers detailed information about Huéneja, a picturesque municipality located in the southeastern part of the Guadix region, in the province of Granada, on the eastern edge of the plateau of the Marquisate of Zenete. Its features include:

History and Heritage: Huéneja has evidence of human settlement since the Argar period, as evidenced by the discovery of numerous artifacts and graves in a nearby area. During the Islamic period, it was characterized as a fortress, with the construction of a castle called Reniha or Guenichea. Of note is Boabdil's stay in the Huéneja farmsteads from September 27 to October 3, 1490.
