HousingNotes highlights the main risk factors of barn on the basis of several measures. Quality of bedding, luminosity, temperature, hygrometry, water trough, feeding and walking areas are easily controlled.
The usability of the tool, thanks to clever and practical metering, allow to count simultaneously the number of lying cows, lying cows that ruminate, standing cows on bedding and waiting cows. The luminosity, temperature and hygrometry can be measured with the sensors of the device (if available).
The application also calculates the THI which permits to evaluate animal environment.
The analysis of all these data, easily and quickly collected, directly valued in graphic form, allows to conclude on the barn quality.
HousingNotes can be used both during an audit and regular monitoring on-farm.
Real equivalent and complementary to CowNotes, HousingNotes will allow you to analyze dairy cow barns as an expert.
