The "E-CzasPL Clock" application is a response to the need to synchronize the system time of mobile devices, when there is a need to act in accordance with the law (with regard to time), in accordance with common standards of quality and / or safety, as well as when there is a need to ensure measurement consistency time used by the user with the official time in Poland. The application allows for easier access to the synchronization of the device's system time with the official time in the territory of the Republic of Poland, or allows for determining the differences between the system time and the official time, taking into account link delays (transmission asymmetry) for individual customers or industry representatives who use commonly used operating systems to activities in which time plays a key role (e.g. industrial process control, users of electronic public procurement platforms and those handling various competition procedures).
Possibility to obtain a clock / official time display in a quick and uncomplicated way, which, for example, can be placed in any public place. The application is dedicated to Users who:
• they do not have NTP servers;
• they do not require very high accuracy and reliability from the tool synchronizing or monitoring the discrepancy of their time with the official time;
• indicate the need to use a reliable source of time in their electronic device (mobile or stationary).
In order to use the service, the user reads the description of the application, downloads the appropriate version of the application and installs it on his device. Then, thanks to the software implementation of a simplified version of the NTP protocol - sNTP, each activation of the appropriate option allows you to synchronize the system time with the official time (if the user's operating system allows such action), displaying the synchronized official time clock in the application (without changing the system time), or monitoring the system time against the official time with a specified step. The accuracy of synchronization is in the worst case tenths of a second, in the best single milliseconds - depending on the technical capabilities of the Internet connection.
