This Manual was intended as a tool both to be applied in compliance with the regulations required by Law 13059 of the Province of Buenos Aires on Thermal Conditioning of Buildings1, as well as other similar laws or ordinances (V.g. 4458 of the CABA and 8757 of the Municipality of Rosario, SF) and also as an instrument for technical training, consultation and dissemination of the concepts involved.
Unlike a closed calculation program (which it is not intended to replace), our objective is to provide those who want practical answers by adopting some of the proposed technical solutions without too many complications, but without giving up, if they so wish, knowing how they were. generated, whenever their calculation process can be consulted freely.
It is noteworthy that the mention, the frequent quotes and paragraphs extracted from the relevant IRAM Standards for Thermal Conditioning of Buildings are not intended to replace them but only to contribute to their understanding and facilitate their application, emphasizing that these are the ideal material to which resort to any doubt.
