The game is a fun concept executed scumily. There are the ads, but there's more. The A.I. is terrible. After a few 'loops' around the map it fails to act proactively because it attacks on some if defender <= N code. It's very stale. What about PVP? The strategy to win EVERY time is to wait for an attack, then storm the home base, repeat. Maybe they're kids? Close the app. Same board position when you return. No wifi or data? The match continues. Obvious loops in moves. It's just a different A.I!

The game is fun, but unfortunately 3/4 of your time is spent waiting on ads. There are so many for anything you try to do in the game. I find it hard to play for more than a couple minutes. I wanted to PLAY a game, not just have ads running non-stop on my phone (sometimes there are multiple ads in a row). I understand using ads to pay for costs (which is why I haven't complained about other apps using ads). This game uses an excessive amount. Everytime you win one little area boom ads.

Re-downloaded a couple weeks ago for some fun simple gameplay and even purchased the overpriced add-on to get rid of ads before the card update. It only gets rid of the ads after you lose. Definitely not worth it. Now with the new card packs, you watch an ad for an extra pack. Even more aggregiously, if you want to upgrade the units/bases/leaders with what you have earned from opening packs, you have to watch an ad. Reduce the ads, especially for those that purchase.
