Stunningly unreliable. Frequently logs me out just before getting on the bus, fails to load the ticket, or the ticket reader indicates that the ticket is not valid even though it is. Verifying tickets is extremely slow, slowing down the boarding process for everyone. EDIT: I came back to this app after a year of disuse. It won't start most of the time, such on loading terms of service. When it does start and the terms can be accepted, the terms screen still pops up later. Login attempts hang.

When the app works, it's fine. The issue is it only works 30% of the time. It will randomly log you out and then throw error codes at you where the text is "null" so you have no way of even knowing what the error is and making it impossible to log back in. When an app functions as a ticket it has to be stable. This app is about as unstable as it gets.

For tourists in Iceland the Klappid app is the only way to pay ad hoc for a city bus ticket. The concept is fine: install app, register creditcard, buy ticket beforehand, activate ticket waiting for the bus, scan ticket's QR code when entering the bus. While for this the connection to the backend payment system is crucial, it appeared broken on several days, leaving us no option to buy a ticket ad hoc. The payment system connection should be made robust.
