The "Smart Community of the Ionian-Silanes" project was created to create a community identity for the inland Ionian-Silanes region through the development of a web application capable of providing digital services to support tourism and enhance the area. The Municipality of Santa Severina is the leader of the Associated Information Service (SIA) for the inland Sila and Pre-Sila areas of Crotone and Cosenza, in accordance with the National Strategy for Internal Areas (SNAI).
Through the application, users, whether tourists or residents, will be able to discover fascinating points of interest through Augmented Reality, thanks to the activation of an immersive 3D audio guide that will tell the history of the area. Businesses will also be able to register their business on the web application for free on the web portal and have an online showcase for their services. Guests will also be able to book their stays using an integrated booking system.
