Super Block game is a highly popular block-arranging puzzle game in which players must arrange blocks of various shapes to fill horizontal rows to clear them.
The game offers three difficulty levels: easy, medium, and hard. Players control the movement of the blocks, moving them left, right, down, or rotate using the controls on the bottom of the game. They can also pause or restart the game (the score resets).
- Easy: The time it takes for a block to drop is 1 second before it moves down one space. When a block is completed in a row, a base score of 1500 points is awarded. After completing every 5 rows, the level increases by 1 level, and the score for completing the row increases accordingly.
- Medium: The time it takes for a block to drop is 1 second before it moves down one space at the start. This decreases as players arrange more pieces (at higher levels). A base score of 2,000 points is awarded for completing a row. Each time every five rows is completed, the level increases by one level, and the score for completing a row increases accordingly.
- Hard: the time it takes for a piece to drop is 0.8 seconds. It moves down one space at the start, and drops faster than in Medium games. As players arrange more pieces (at higher levels), a base score of 2,500 points is awarded for completing a row. Each time every five rows is completed, the level increases by one level, and the score for completing a row increases accordingly.
