About this app

This is the official SBI Securities app for FIDO (smartphone authentication).

In addition to passwords, you can log in more securely by using identity verification information (face authentication, fingerprint authentication, etc.) registered on your smartphone.

FIDO authentication is a service that prevents login to target apps and tools from devices other than registered devices. Even if your account information is illegally obtained and your account is illegally accessed through malware or phishing, it can prevent access from devices other than registered devices. Please use the "SBI Securities Smart App" to prevent logins from third parties.

Features of the "SBI Securities Smart App"

■Feature 1: Provides multi-factor authentication (FIDO), a more secure login authentication method

This app allows you to log in using your username and password, as well as biometric authentication.

By using this app, you can reduce the risk of unauthorized logins.

*1 A PIN code can be used as an alternative to biometric authentication.

*2 The SBI Securities Smart App is implemented in accordance with the FIDO standard specifications.

■Feature 2: Supports logging in from multiple devices
By scanning the two-dimensional barcode or entering the request code, you can use multi-factor authentication to log in to your account even from a device that does not have this app installed.
*If you register for authentication with this app, approval by this app will be required when logging in from a device that does not have the app installed. Authentication registration can only be performed on one device per account (as of June 2025), so please do not install this app on any device other than the one you use primarily.
