The following access permissions are required to use NH Banking services.

[Required access rights]
1. Storage space: Access to device photos, media, and files, used when using services such as storing certificates, saving bankbook copies, and saving transfer confirmation details.
2. Phone number: Verification of mobile phone number for mobile phone identity verification, mobile OTP with access rights to mobile phone status and device information to prevent electronic financial fraud, mobile phone identity verification, version confirmation in environment settings, (re)issuance of NH mobile certificate We use your mobile phone information to connect you to a consultation phone number.
3. Installed apps: Used to check smartphone APP installation information to prevent electronic financial transaction accidents and to detect apps that require attention.
※ In principle, NH Banking does not collect sensitive information that may infringe on the customer's privacy. When necessary, it collects the information with the customer's separate consent and uses it only for the purpose of consent.

[Optional access rights]
1. Location: Access to device location information is used when using services such as finding a branch.
2. Contact: Used to retrieve the contact list before sending a transfer and to send the transfer result via SMS after the transfer is completed.
3. Camera: Access to the photo shooting function is used for image taking, ID card photography, QR code recognition, etc.
4. Microphone: Used for video calls for non-face-to-face real name verification, voice consultation chat, and voice search. [Optional] Biometric authentication: Used to log in (authentication method) and use remittance (simple remittance) services.

[How to set access rights]
- Settings > Applications > NH Banking > Permissions
- If you are using a smartphone with Android OS version 6.0 or lower, all required access rights can be applied without optional access rights. In this case, if you upgrade the operating system to OS 6.0 or higher and reinstall the app, you can set access rights normally.

English UI of the app lacks many features and functionality included in the Korean UI. Korean app developers and whoever hires them are still completely oblivious to foreign users. Lame!

The recent update is very nice. All options are really good. Yet, no option to send previously transacted details to a friend. I know, its due to safety reasons, however, copying or kakao connect would be better. Because once you leave the transaction page, after that you cannot send it to friend or others. Then, we need PC to send the details. It's difficult at times.

Signing up for new accounts isn't working due to the seeming inability of the camera to read my 외국인등록증. Frustrating development from what used to be an extremely smooth app. Edit: The fingerprint and the 핸드폰본인인증 functions suddenly stopped working for no reason. No explanation and no reason for anything to change. This app was fine from 2015-2020 but updates over the past two years have made it literally useless at times.
