About this app

The Utah Air application employs Utah Division of Air Quality's new air quality alert system that consists of action alerts, represented by three basic symbols that signify the voluntary or mandatory actions (e.g., carpooling, wood burning) the public needs to adhere to the current pollution levels, and health guidance, based on the EPA’s Air Quality Index (AQI) that helps determine how the highest pollution level of the day will affect people with various health conditions.

Utah residents can check into the app daily to know when not to use wood and coal burning stoves or fireplaces, the best times to exercise outdoors, or make one consolidated trip for errands based on current conditions and trends. The three-day forecast can help individuals plan ahead to adjust their travel plans or work schedule to avoid adding harmful emissions during winter inversions or during the summer Ozone season.

Worked good for a while. Recently it won't update. Since it only shows a 3 day window its frequently on the wrong days. When the reading is well in the good zone the forecast still shows moderate, even though the news confirms the air good. I use this so I know when I can use my wood stove, inaccurate forecast means my house stays cold for no reason.

For some reason this app is no longer working. Everytime I try to open it, I get an error message. If this isn't resolved soon, I will be deleting the app. UPDATE: I uninstalled and reinstalled this app, and it STILL doesn't open, all I get is an error message. I used to rely heavily on this app, so it truly sucks that I can no longer access it. What gives?!

Installed and tried to open but was unable to connect to network. Nothing wrong with network, everything else is working fine. First try and failed. I was hoping the previous reviews were fixed. Guess not.
