There are 10 squares vertically and horizontally. These are aircraft carriers (5 squares), battleships (4 squares), cruisers (3 squares), submarines (3 squares), and destroyers (2 squares). If all squares of a warship are attacked, it will sink. You win if you can attack all the warship squares before your opponent.
