I recommend this strategy to everyone who really wants to learn a language. If you just think it's cool to be able to say a few words in another language, there are tons of those apps, and they even do a better job teaching vocabulary; however, if you want to understand a language well enough to figure out what to say in any given situation (and why), this app will help you get to the next level in ways that you can apply in real-life situations. Use both plus immersion where you can.

This app is great, exactly what I wanted when I had the idea to teach how to speak a new language based on your current one rather than memorize vocabulary. The only thing I would add is some kind of quiz system and memory vocab tool, while it shouldn't be a main learning strategy, I still think it' important. Also a course for Esperanto would be amazing, if you don't know the language then kindly research it, the idea is a great one. It could even be a median language for all transfers

Exceptional! Do yourself a favor and try! I've learned more in the 1st 10 lessons than 50+ with Duolingo (good for learning vocabulary). These lessons build upon themselves and explain grammar without a bunch of confusing terms. Takes what you already know about your language and applies it to the learning language, making it easier to remember without requiring rote memorization. I've shared this with EVERY friend I have trying to learn a new language. I appreciate that this is free too!
